Lean Funding Available With Leanovations
|
Leanovations, LLC enjoys a relationship with many national training associations
who specialize in securing government (federal and state) funds and/or grants which extends into several states and multiple
programs. Which include CT. Department of Labor (CT DOL), New England Trade Adjustment Assistance Center Inc. (NETAAC),
and Energize Connecticut's Programs administered by Eversource Energy and United Illuminating. Leanovations was selected and awarded a contract in support
of the Energize Connecticut's Lean Manufacturing (PRIME), and Business Sustainability Challenge (BSC), administered
by Eversource Energy and United Illuminating, promoting energy-efficiency programs allowing businesses to make smart production,
energy and sustainability choices. Implementing Lean Manufacturing and Business Sustainability
is the easiest, most cost-effective way to collectively establish a competitive advantage, through freeing up capacity with
PRIME (Lean), creating job security through economic,
environmental and social awareness through BSC (Business Sustainability Challenge). Along with Leanovations being a certified Lean Consulting Organization for Energize Connecticut’s Lean manufacturing
program, Leanovations is also a registered Lean Consultant Company with: The State of Connecticut Department of Labor (CT-DOL)
American Job Center (formerly CTWorks) collaborating with the five (5) regional Workforce Investment Boards that assess employment
training needs and priorities, and coordinates programs that address those needs. The New England Trade Adjustment Assistance
Center Inc. (NETAAC), is a government funded non-profit corporation. NETAAC offers cost shared assistance for import-injured
manufacturers through a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Connecticut's Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT/CMSCI).
The objectives of these programs are to improve employee
skills and maintain the economic strength and viabililty of businesses that produce measurable and sustainable process improvements
in productivity, enhancing profitable growth through worldclass operational excellence. The team
at Leanovations will work closely with you to evaluate your company’s eligibility for funding to ensure you meet the
requirements. • We will assist you in identifying your workforce
training needs and objectives through an in-depth assessment and evaluation process. • Customize and design a training
plan and budget that best fits your company. • Make recommendations and provide training opportunities that will
connect well with your business needs. • Assist in writing a competitive grant application to the appropriate funding
source while maximizing its value to ensure all your training needs are met.

CEEF – CT Energy Efficiency Fund
PRIME Program (Administered through Eversource and U.I.)
If you are a Eversource or U.I.L. Corporation manufacturing
customer, classified with a SIC code between 2000-3999, you may be eligible for funding for up to four (4) Lean Kaizen events!
The EnergizeCT-CEEF PRIME Program is administered by Eversource and U.I.L., providing up to $9,000 towards the cost of consulting
services by Leanovations for Lean
Manufacturing events. The EnergizeCT-CEEF PRIME Program allows manufacturing customers of Eversource and U.I.L. who have
not utilized PRIME funding for all four events, or in the previous twenty four months, may qualify. - Event
1 of the PRIME Program is funded at $9,000
- Events 2, 3 & 4 of the PRIME Program
is funded at $4,500
NETAAC
Funding
The New England Trade Adjustment Assistance Center Inc. (NETAAC),
is a government funded non-profit corporation. NETAAC offers cost shared assistance for import-injured manufacturers through
a grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce. Companies that have experienced recent declines in sales and employment, due
at least in part to increasing imports of competitive products, are eligible for participation in the program, in which the
federal government pays 50% of the cost of consulting services such as Leanovations designed to help the client firm improve its competitive position. (The federal government
pays 75% if the firm requests $30,000 or less of assistance.)

ADVANCE Training Grant Program (Administered through
Connecticut Center for Advanced Technologies - CCAT)
If you are a Connecticut Aerospace manufacturer located in
the Hartford area / central CT with less than 500 employees and are interested in advancing your employee skills necessary
to grow the business and propel the workers career development, you may be eligible to participate and receive up to 50% reimbursement
of the costs for training by Leanovations.
Connecticut’s Workforce Investment Systems (CTWorks) The State of
Connecticut Department of Labor (American Job
Center – formerly CTWorks) collaborates with the five (5) regional Workforce Investment Boards that assess employment
training needs and priorities, and coordinates programs that address those needs. The grants provide funds to promote world-class
innovation, productivity, and competitiveness through industry cluster economic development with qualified consultant groups,
such as Leanovations. The ultimate goal is to increase the prosperity and standard of living of Connecticut’s citizens,
and finds ways to support it through various training, including lean manufacturing. Awards may range up to $40,000. The grant
requires that each employer contribute a dollar for dollar match and funding normally equals 50% of total training costs.
